What we collect
When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture. We store the projects you create, the email addresses you invite, the comments people write, and basic information about uploaded videos (file name, size, duration).
Google Drive access
If you connect Google Drive, we request the drive.file permission. It only lets us see and manage files and folders that Drive Review itself creates — a “Reviews” folder and the project folders and videos inside it. We cannot see any other files in your Drive. We use this access to create those folders, to save uploaded videos into them, and to move them to your Drive trash when you delete a project or video.
Drive Review’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
Video playback copies
To play videos smoothly in the browser, a copy of each upload is sent to our video processing provider, which creates a streaming version (up to 1080p). That copy is deleted when you delete the video or project. The original always stays in the project owner’s Google Drive.
Who can see what
Videos and comments in a project are visible to the project owner and the people they invite. Nobody else.
Deleting your data
Deleting a project moves its Drive folder to your Drive trash and removes the streaming copies. You can revoke Drive Review’s access at any time from your Google Account’s security settings. To delete your account entirely, contact us.
